Partial

Roses decorated with raindrops

kittens with long whiskers

looking up in amazement

watching geese carrying the moon.

Scent of spring rain

entering rooms

without needing to define

the fragrance of time.

Old copper kettle

whistling it’s own tune

leaving no expression

only steam.

Partial dreams

songs of reality

fit perfect like mittens

as stars wink above

choosing me to love.
